Office of the Attorney General

The Office of the Attorney General serves as the legal sword and shield of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The Attorney General represents the Nation in all legal matters involving the Tribe, is responsible for the prosecution of all reservation criminal matters, for reviewing Tribal code and Tribal management contracts, and to provide counsel in other matters that arise as the Muscogee (Creek) Nation exercises and defends its sovereignty and self-determination.

The Attorney General’s office consists of the Attorney General and supporting office staff, a Criminal Division, Children and Family Division and Civil Division, each having a Chief Prosecutor and staff attorneys, specialists, and highly qualified support staff.
