Tribal Energy Program

The Tribal Energy Program provides assistance to all eligible Muscogee (Creek) citizens with $600 towards their cooling and heating bills. Muscogee (Creek) citizens that receive disability benefits or are 55 and older are eligible to apply. The Tribal Energy program is not an emergency assistance program. Due to the high volume of applications received, it may take up to 90 days for the application and payment to be processed. All applicants are encouraged to keep paying their utility bills.

Citizens must complete an application each season. All applications must be completed online via the Camphouse Portal.

• Age: 55+ or Disabled
• Muscogee Nation Citizenship Card
  (Driver license, state ID, or birth certification will be accepted for non-Native household members.)
• Social Security Card: all household members.
• Disability verification (if applicable)
• Utility bill
  • Cooling Season (May–Sep)
    Electric bill
  • Heating Season (Nov–Mar)
    Gas bill, propane quote, wood vendor information, an electric bill (if completely electric, must show usage to determine total electric)
  • Utility bill must be in the applicant’s or spouse’s name.

How To Report Fraud

Fraud, waste, or abuse with any Tribal Assistance application is illegal. Please feel free to report fraud by contacting our office. We carefully review your allegation and take appropriate action. However, we cannot provide information regarding the actions taken on any reported allegation. Federal regulations prohibit the disclosure of information contained in law enforcement records, even to the person making the allegation.
