The Walking Program is an annual incentive-based program to encourage the Native community to be more physically active year-round. Participants can sign up by contacting their Health & Wellness staff person by phone or email, or by attending a local community sign-up event listed on the schedule.

Through a series of technique specific drills and task specific challenges, athletes will develop mentally and physically. L6TD believes in the importance of empowering the mind through the body. 2024 Muscogee (Creek) Nation Festival

Claude Cox Omniplex Fairgrounds Rd, Okmulgee

Each year, thousands gather at the Claude Cox Omniplex right here in Okmulgee for a weekend filled with activities celebrating the Muscogee people. This annual celebration encompasses multiple weekends, includes cultural exhibitions, sports tournaments, concerts featuring local and national acts, arts and crafts, great food, carnival rides, a parade, and many more festivities for the entire family to enjoy. All activities are free to attend and open to the public.
