The Muscogee Nation is organized, by Constitution, into three branches of government—Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches, with distinct separation of power among the three.
Registration for the MCN Festival 5K and Fun Run/Walk is open! Virtual option is available this year too. If you cannot make the actual race in-person, but still want to complete the 5k on your own, then sign up for the virtual race. We will mail your shirt and medal!
The 2024 Muscogee Nation Festival is seeking coordinator volunteers for the upcoming festival in June. We need a coordinator for the 3 on 3 Adult and Youth Basketball Tournaments.
The Traditional Games needs volunteers for the following areas:
• Hospitality tent
• Scorekeepers
• Referees
• Water runners
• Sign in and registration
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the stickball game portion of the traditional games has been cancelled. However, the Turtle Race will still be an active event for the traditional games portion of the Muscogee Nation Festival.
Each year, thousands gather at the Claude Cox Omniplex right here in Okmulgee for a weekend filled with activities celebrating the Muscogee people. This annual celebration encompasses multiple weekends, includes cultural exhibitions, sports tournaments, concerts featuring local and national acts, arts and crafts, great food, carnival rides, a parade, and many more festivities for the entire family to enjoy. All activities are free to attend and open to the public.
